Bethany Kehdy is the founder of Taste Lebanon, a boutique travel & service collective aimed at delivering anything but a cookie-cutter tour experience.

This charming Lebanese-American culinary adventurist exudes a passion, which naturally draws others to join in exploring the diverse culinary traditions of Lebanon. Bethany is charismatic and her style, approachable. Fluent in English, Arabic and French, she engages and communicates clearly between the local community and her guests, creating a unique & dynamic experience all the while ensuring an interactive, hands-on approach.

A natural foodie, Bethany has spent a lot of time watching and learning via osmosis the art of Middle Eastern food preparation, cooking and preserving from her grandmother, dad and aunties. In the mid eighties, her family retreated into the beautiful mountains of central Lebanon where Bethany’s father set up an eclectic dairy farm on the ancestral land. For a great part of her childhood Bethany helped water orchards, harvest fruits and vegetables, chase after chicken, make cheese and even milk the odd cow. This has influenced and encouraged her to learn and understand more about the culture, history, and importance behind the food processes.

Taste Lebanon will provide you with a rare opportunity to delve deep into the Lebanese culture making use of Bethany’s insight and contacts within Lebanon’s food and culture scene all the while experiencing the flamboyant Lebanese hospitality.
